1952 Sebring Winner
Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica, 421/100/160
February 2001
I got this a few months ago from Mr. Chapek by email:"I just came into possession of a scrapbook from my late friend Donald Smith and it contained this news clipping. Thought you might be interested in it. I knew Don in his later years, but he never discussed his involvement with this vehicle, although I do know that he was an associate of Frankie DelRoy, who is also shown in the news clipping. DelRoy was an East Coast distributor for Kurtis Kraft race cars and Offenhauser racing engines in the late 1940's through early 1950's. Don built and raced a Ford V8-60/Offenhauser powered midget on the East Coast in the 1950's.
Cheers,
George V. Chapek"
